>> Follow these steps to download a PDF file <<

To download a digital notebook from the email:

Noteshelf will allow you to write DIRECTLY on the downloaded PDF, just like on a real paper planner. You can also use other annotations apps like: Goodnotes 5 and Notability, but I strongly recommend:

  • Noteshelf if you're focus is being productive with taking notes
  • Notability if you'll record discussions and voice notes

First, make a folder "Digital Planners ORIGINALS" either on the iPad or Dropbox to save the file(s). Then, download the PDF:

OPTION 1: DOWNLOAD ON THE IPAD (EASIEST WAY)

On the iPad, open the email you just got and click the download link to open the PDF file in Safari > tap the Share icon (step 1) > tap Save to Files (step 2) > select the "Digital Planners ORIGINALS" folder (step 3) > tap Save (step 4).

OPTION 2: ON THE PC, MacBook or iMac

Download the PDF file(s) from the email on your computer, then send the PDF file(s) to your iPad:

a) send the PDF file(s) via AirDrop from Mac to iPad (and save them in the "Digital Planners ORIGINALS" folder.

or,

b) save them to Dropbox (make sure you have Dropbox on the iPad too)

Once you install the Noteshelf app import the saved PDF as a new document following these simple steps: Tap "+" icon > select “Import Document” from the pop-up window > locate the PDF in the "Digital Planners ORIGINALS" folder >  select to import.

Once you got the journal in Noteshelf grab the Apple Pencil and use the pen to handwrite your notes. If you don't have an Apple Pencil you can always use the "T" (type tool) to type your notes anywhere on the pages.

To download a digital notebook from your VAULT account:

Grab your iPad and follow any of these 2 options:

1. If you want to download a PDF file from my VAULT, open the VAULT page on your iPad, locate the PDF you want to download and tap the Orange Download Link to get to the download links displayed. Once you click any download link the PDF notebook will open in the safari browser.
